About Us

Our Founders have been identifying and hiring talent between 15 years and 35 years each.They have come from the Tech sector themselves and run EMEA and various other Regions at Director and Vice President level at Publicly Listed companies on all the major Exchanges including the London Stock Exchange, New York Stock Exchange and of course the NASDAQ.They have also operated as CEO’s in both VC backed and private companies.As a result, our Founders have operated in the Services, Networking, Security, Social, Software and Cloud sectors of the market and consequently hired thousands (and sadly fired hundreds) of people. We, therefore, understand what good looks like and ensure any candidates we present to you are individuals we would hire ourselves and on the candidate side can ensure any prospective clients we present to them will be a good fit.

Our Team
With 39 years of global tech experience, Keith Bird is our Chairman and a Director of DASON Group.
As a three-time CEO, he founded and sold two tech startups and held senior roles at global software and tech firms including Proofpoint, F5, Symantec, Checkpoint, SonicWALL, Extreme Networks and EDS, an HP company.
Keith worked in the Tech Vendor world for 28 years until June 2023 where in his last role he was running a $220m, 450 person business across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa, for one of the world’s leading Cyber Security Saas vendors.
He has now moved into the world of Private Equity and is a Director on multiple companies. Keith has a huge, and envied, industry network, which is fully utilised to benefit both our clients and candidates.
Our CEO Kerry Barnham has been running recruitment companies for 24 years with a track record of helping companies increase revenue streams, with the very best Talent.Kerry is backed up by a world class team who have worked in the tech sector themselves and grown successful organisations at scale. The network of the Dason recruitment team provides access to a wide pool of fantastic companies and candidates.
Senior Consultant, Cameron Livingstone-Smith, has operated internally within some of the leading Tech companies in the industry running Global Executive Recruitment.Prior to joining the DASON Group team, Cameron worked at leading vendors F5, Verizon and Red Hat as a senior member of their Talent Acquisition teams.Cameron brings 20 years of Talent Acquisition experience and understanding, having worked within these international vendors.
Having led hundreds of domestic and global searches, Cameron has a deep understanding for candidate assessment as a talented, highly skilled senior recruiter.
Holly Piller is one of our team of Associates supporting our Principles with their searches.
She began her career in recruitment 18 years ago, working predominantly within professional services.
Holly is focused on great customer service and finding the perfect match for both clients and candidates.
Sam Bird is one of our team of Associates supporting our Principles with their searches.
A graduate from the University of Leeds with a First Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Creative Writing and also a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the Arts London.
Sam provides intelligence and candidate tracking.
Sam is also a CRM expert, building specialist CRM systems.
Alex Barnham is one of our team of Associates supporting our Principles with their searches.
A BSc Economics Undergraduate from the University of Bristol and former Head of Outreach at the Bristol Investment Fund, has also worked as a Technology, Media and Telecommunications Analyst.
Alex provides intelligence and candidate tracking.
Alex is also responsible for company communications and branding.

We take a detailed brief from our clients (don’t worry we will do all the work!) to understand their busines, challenges, opportunities, strategic and tactical priorities. We understand long term goals are key but also that new hires need to start contributing as soon as possible.We take our deep market knowledge to ensure we present a clients opportunity to the best matched talent we are aware of, ensuring both sides get all the information they need to qualify if discussions make sense (candidates have a lot of choices too!).We actively engage with our clients beyond just the initial search mandate to build a deep understanding of the business over the long term and provide value add, even if there is not a fee involved.We operate for our clients in the one of the most competitive labour markets (and we also recognise that we as an agency have a few competitors!) So we tailor everything we do around each client to provide a service and experience to each client and candidate that is world class.Many of our clients and candidates have become friends over the years, so for us this business is as much about relationships than anything else.
